When I was a young boy,.   my mother,.   a devout Christian,.   prayed unceasingly and in earnest;    that all of her four children would someday preach the Gospel message,   to a lost and hurting world.    Two of us are now full time in the ministry.   She planted the seeds in the ground by insisting that all four of us attend Church and Sunday School regularly.    And she prayed every day of her life that Almighty God would cause the seeds to grow.    Her passion for the Great Commission burns within my soul even unto the present day.    And I truly believe that the free Bible stories on the https://bibleforchildren.org/  website are a terrific teaching tool that have the potential to take the good news of the Gospel to all of the precious children on the Earth today.    Disciple your children to be ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ in every country of the world.    Share these blessed online Bible stories with them,.   encourage them to teach them to others,.   and pray that all of your children will someday preach the Gospel message to the very ends of the Earth.    Before I go,.   I just want to share a message with you that fully explains how God called me to serve Him.    And I am so grateful that He did!

When I was very young,.   my first grade teacher asked everyone in my class to write a short essay on the subject of:.   what do I really want to be?    My dad wanted me to someday be a school teacher just like he was;.   my mom was a devout Christian,.   and she wanted me to be a minister of the Gospel;.   and I wanted to be a professional baseball player.    As the years went by,.   and I drifted from job to job,.   I always felt that I had totally missed my calling in life.    None of the jobs that I had ever worked at,.   nor any of the events that I had ever experienced during those years,.   gave me any real joy or satisfaction.    It always seemed to me that God was calling me to go off in another direction.    So finally,.   after many years of searching for happiness and contentment,.   I finally decided to go into the ministry.    It was a great big step for me.  I didn’t really feel very comfortable or very welcome when I walked into a church,.   I didn’t know the Bible all that well,.   and at that time,.   I had never been baptized.    The sermons that were being preached were difficult for me to understand.    I didn’t know anyone,.   or have any friends in the congregation,.   and I didn’t feel that I would ever be able to get up the courage to tell anyone about the love of Jesus Christ.    But I knew that Almighty God was calling me.    So I started reading the Bible;.   attending church,.   Sunday school,.    and Wednesday evening Bible study on a regular basis;.   and taking all of my fears,.  frustrations,.  doubts,.  and worries to the Lord in prayer.   And then……….  Hallelujah!    The Lord Made A Change In Me!    I now feel right at home in church,.   I know the stories in the Bible much better,.   I use Bible scripture to comfort me and re-assure me,.    and I now have been baptized under water in the name of the Father,.  the Son,.  and the Holy Ghost.    In fact,.   the Lord has now led me to witness to many people all over the world in the very precious name of Jesus.    I am happy,.   I am content,.   and I am fully satisfied.    I finally realized that all I really wanted to be was a true and faithful ambassador of Jesus Christ,.   to the whole world.    I also believe that a calling from God is by far the greatest calling that any person can ever have.    Don’t go through life like I did;.   stumbling around in the darkness like a blind man.    Seek first the kingdom of God,.   and everything else shall be added unto you.    God is a terrific guidance counselor.    He will set you on the right path the very first time.   You will never have to look back.    I know that I won’t.    Talk to God today in prayer.    Tell Him what you really want to be!
